Our Story Began With a Simple Question
Why should understanding credit feel so complicated?
From Confusion to Clarity
Back in 2019, I was sitting across from yet another client who'd been denied a mortgage despite having what they thought was "good credit." The frustration in their eyes wasn't unfamiliar — I'd seen it countless times during my years as a financial counselor in Ontario.
That's when hitane-fudiwa was born. Not from a boardroom strategy session, but from real conversations with real Canadians who deserved better than cryptic credit reports and confusing financial jargon.
We started small, hosting workshops in community centers across southwestern Ontario. What began as evening sessions for a handful of people has grown into a comprehensive platform serving thousands of Canadians who want to take control of their financial futures.
